Adding Husky Dollars

Procedures for Students
  1. Log into the Student Hub
  2. Go to Resources
  3. Click on Financial Services
  4. Choose ‘Husky Card Account Details’
  5. Click ‘Add Funds’ under the Husky Dollars section
  6. Husky Dollars must be purchased using credit or debit card. The ACH e-check option is no longer available.
  7. Ensure that the ‘Overview’ tab is selected
  8. Scroll down to the section ‘Would you like to add money to your Campus Card?’ and click on ‘Add Money’
  9. Add the dollar amount of choice and proceed with payment
Procedures for Parents and Guardians
  1. Log into the Parent Hub
  2. Go to Resources
  3. Click on Financial Services
  4. Choose ‘Make a Payment with eCheck’
  5. Husky Dollars must be purchased using credit or debit card. The ACH e-check option is no longer available.
  6. Click the ‘Overview’ tab
  7. Scroll down to the section ‘Would you like to add money to your Campus Card?’ and click on ‘Add Money’
  8. Add the dollar amount of choice and proceed with payment
Procedures for Faculty and Staff
  1. Log into Workday: https://www.myworkday.com/northeastern
  2. In the search field at the top of the screen, type “Voluntary Deductions
    • Click on Report to open deductions form
  3. Any previously set up deductions will be listed
  4. To add a new deduction, click Add and select Husky Dollars
  5. Complete all details required in the deductions form
  6. Your paycheck will be debited the amount selected on the next pay period as listed on the confirmation screen and will continue each pay period unless you chose an end date.
  7. You can edit or delete the Voluntary Deduction at any time by returning to the main Voluntary Deduction form from the search bar, selecting the deduction, and select edit or delete.

Unused Husky Dollars may be refunded back to the Student Account upon graduation or withdrawal from the University by request in writing to huskycard@northeastern.edu. Funds will be returned to the main Student Account and used to cover any other due balances. If the refund results in a credit balance on the account, please visit Student Financial Services for information regarding refunds. Faculty and staff should contact Human Resources for a refund of Husky Dollars upon departure from the University.

Specialized Husky Dollars accounts such as Housing Husky and Reslife Husky Dollars expire annually in late August prior to the start of the fall semester. These funds will not roll over into the new academic year, and are not refundable upon graduation or departure from the University.
